ABOUT THE PROJECT:
"Crunchyroll Loves" is a branch of Crunchyroll's eCommerce focusing on limited edition collaborations through licensed apparel. It has featured crossovers with numerous fan-favorite series, franchises, and creators. Previous collections have included RWBY, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, and more.
Following the release of Chromatica, Lady Gaga’s Grammy-winning sixth studio album, Crunchyroll began working on securing a license deal with the artist and approached me to help build out a collection to send to Gaga's team. The following designs were the items that were approved by her team and feature unique and experimental pieces alongside specially-designed artwork from artist, McFlyy.
Additionally, a portion of the proceeds went to the Born This Way Foundation, a nonprofit organization co-founded by Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta. The organization’s goal is to support youth mental health and work with them to build a kinder and braver world.
